Who escapes, wins – teambuilding in ESC Room
The group No Limits is diligently preparing
for its summer expedition. As on every Friday, we met in order to move closer
to our goal. This time the meeting didn't take place at our usual
meeting-point, Kačaba Café, but at the Escape Room. There were many tasks to
cope with, the most important one being learning how to cooperate as a team.
One of the two teams was locked in a room and was supposed to escape in one
hour, before a bounty hunter comes. We can't, of course, reveal what happened
inside to ensure that all future players can enjoy the game to its fullest. The
other part of the group naturally didn't slack: they let themselves be
photographed in the meantime, so that their photos could be used in further
propagation of the group, and discussed several important topics regarding
finances. Štěpán brought the hottest news because he had just come back from
the DofE training. The wheelchair user Honza Krauskopf arrived as well and we
took photos together with him. The first group, Team Dragon (since it received
a stone with a carving of a dragon as its symbol from Štěpán), got out of the
room eleven minutes before the time limit. Fine performance. The teams swapped
in the murderer's office and the other group devoted their time to the same
activities as their predecessors. Plenty of ideas arose throughout the meeting
and although it will be difficult to implement them, No Limits works hard and
will do its best to succeed. Team Yak (named in a similar manner) was three
minutes slower than their predecessors. Then we proceeded to our final
briefing, during which we discussed several details, such as the organization
of a “Tibet Day” at the Masaryk Grammar School, and many other things. After
the meeting everybody, with the exception of Štěpán and “The Chieftain” Kolář,
who had a financial rendezvous in Kačaba Café, went home.
